On 31st December, 2007 I celebrated New year’s eve at our residence i.e. village Shergarh (Hoshiarpur), with my grand daughters and great grand-children especially girls. They sang songs, poems, “lok geet”, dance, gidda and bhangra. Sweets were distributed among all the present. The number of children (girls) were fifty-one. We enjoyed very much. Participants were given gifts.
On that day I announced that an eye test, blood sugar test and medical check up camp would be arranged and the same was organized on January 20, 2008 (my birthday) successfully. More than one hundred and fifty one persons came. They were provided each and everything as we could.
Dr. C.L. Kajal an Eye specialist, Hoshiarpur, Dr. S.L. Bhata an M.B.B.S. and Mr. Vijay Kumar, Laboratory technician attended to the patients. They gave the medicines also to the patients.
