In 2000 an open House seminar was held on October 21 at 11-AM by library services of Braille Institute, Los Angles on the subjects of Health, Happiness and Humor.
In this connection, a circular was circulated indicating that a note was required on “What is Happiness. The note should not exceed 26 words. So, I tried to become a contestant though my English is not so good. I prepared a note according to my aptitude and thinking. There was one hundred and fifty one, may be more constants. My note on the subject was under:-
“Happiness is the satisfaction of
Mind, which has to reach by
Three steps of a ladder to attain
Desire; respect; faith and
Then we reach happiness”
It is my great pleasure to mention that I got 6th position amongst the contestants. I was so happy that a man like me got a 6th position who knows only broken English. So I think that it was my great achievement in my life. It was a very big thing for me. It was due to the blessings of God.
I am thankful to my grandson Vishal who helped me a lot for typing etc. for me because I could not type and he typed very nicely.
