Message to my children

It is my pleasure to thank Almighty Omnipresent that I have been seeing my family members, my family members moving, working, studying, reading, writing and promoting friendship. I can share my personal experiences, with my wife, my children including my God daughter (Jayne Mari Garland) and God son (Devinder Singh Jhawar brother of S. Jaswant Singh Jhawar) in particular and with my relatives/friends in general.

I can say if we do anything with, confidence after applying our mind then we can and definitely will lead our lives peacefully/successfully. We should try to solve our problems by ourselves. In case of a big difficulty we should consult our spouse, siblings, children and the tested friends. In the last, we should go to the person who is an expert in the concerned subject for which you need guidance/advice.

It should be our principle that:

“Work hard, play with good principles and tell the truth.”

I had chances to deal with the poorest and richest persons of all walks of life during my life and experienced that everywhere there is a standing policy of giving and taking. The cases of ‘not’ giving and taking policy is very rare.

We should try to speak sweet from the core of our heart. Not Artificial. Artificial sweet speaking is dangerous. We should always speak truth and speaking half truth is also dangerous.

We should also keep in our minds that “Love and lie never go together”.

“Love is a tree whose roots are deep in the earth and the branches are extended into heaven”.

We should make habit to help the visually impaired, handicaps and poor-needy persons.

We should always and in every moment TRUST IN GOD and always obey the mother and father and love the youngsters.

I have been making my best efforts to follow the nice advices, teachings, good thoughts of our ancestors, saints and my parents but I could learn only very little.

I even did not think that I would be given such a high position as Joint Secretary of Punjab Legislative Assembly, Chandigarh as well as I would be granted citizenship of America.

In my view following are some good findings:

1. To be happy with a man, you must understand him thoroughly and love him a little.

2. To be happy with a woman, you must love her a lot and not try to understand at all!

3. A woman marries a man expecting him to change, but he does not.

4. A man marries a woman expecting she would not change, and she does!

At the time of celebrating a special and very important occasion we should take pledge for providing best education to our children as per their potential so that they could compete with others, get them set in better position and bring prosperity for parents/relatives.

I am personally of the considered view that the following points must be examined carefully by ourselves and then we should choose that what we should do during our life period:-

1. We should be faithful to ourselves, our parents, our spouse, our teachers and our family members/relatives/friends and well wishers.

2. We should be faithful to our Nation.

3. We should be faithful to our Omnipresence.

4. We should be more faithful to strangers as the gods are on the side of the stranger.
