My visit to an organization in Los Angeles

In 1985 I, along with my relative Mr. Bhagat Ram Sandhu visited a religious place in Los Angeles, during our first visit to America. The place was the headquarters of self realization fellowship founded by Yogi Parmahans Yogananda. There we also met Dayamata and 10-15 other persons from different countries of the world. I got appointment to see her after three month’s wait as she had a busy schedule. I visited the place because an Inspector General of Police of Haryana asked me for the same because his wile was a follower of that society.

In those days a world conference was also organized by self realization fellowship in Los Angeles in Bonaventure Hotel. Luckily, I was allowed to attend that conference, though I was not a member of that organization. I attended full conference for seven days. My wife also attended one day. That function was very wonderful and it was a very important event in my life. I wish everyone may enjoy such functions in their life.
